The 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, known more popularly as COP 28, was held in Dubai in late 2023. The annual COP gatherings have been among the most prominent climate change conferences, and the actuarial profession was in attendance at this most recent event. Representing the International Actuarial Association was FCIA Simon Curtis. He joins us on this episode to share some of his learnings and observations from this meeting.
