As we continue to mark Black History Month this February, we are joined in this episode by Fergie Galeromeloe, a student in actuarial science at the University of Toronto.
February is Black History Month, and in recognition of this event, the CIA is speaking to Black actuaries and members of the actuarial community to hear their reflections.
CIA members are creative in a number of ways, with some even expressing themselves through visual art. One of these individuals is Haris Sardar, FCIA, who joins us on this episode to discuss his successful sideline as a painter and to share some of the inspiration behind his impressive works.
The CIA is embarking on the most substantial changes yet to our qualification system, which will offer new and varied ways to achieve membership in the Institute. Joining us to discuss our exciting new direction is Alicia Rollo, Director of Education and International Affairs at the CIA.
You can now find all our articles on the Canadian Institute of Actuaries website, in the News section. Seeing Beyond Risk podcasts will move there soon, giving you one easy place to access all Canadian actuarial content! Check it out!
